One fun fact about my town is that it is Snoopy HQ! Santa Rosa is home to the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Schulz Studio, which are dedicated to the works of the creator of the Peanuts comic strip. Throughout Santa Rosa, you'll find statues of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock and friends. The museum and studio must be wonderful places to work because most of the employees are there for years. I was really excited to make a custom pendant as a retirement gift (40 years!) for a staff member at Schulz Studio. Since they own the rights to all Peanuts artwork, I got special permission to use an image from the comic strip. I added a moonstone and a tourmaline pendant to compliment Snoopy. It was such an honor to be part of this thoughtful and unique retirement gift!
