The Designer
Jennifer Dawes knew at 18 she wanted to be a metalsmith. The moment she first touched metal and learned how to manipulate it, she had a transcendental experience that forever shaped her path. In 2000, she launched Jennifer Dawes Design—her lifelong dream of creating fine metal art. The brand became a leader in sustainable jewelry in 2005, around the time Jennifer had her first child.
“Motherhood was the most meaningful, spiritual experience of my life. It changed how I saw the future and deepened my commitment to a socially and environmentally responsible lifestyle.”
Since then, she has used only recycled gold and responsibly mined stones whenever possible. The company proudly handcrafts every piece locally and partners with sustainable businesses using recycled materials.
