Guarantee, Return Policy and Care
Jennifer Dawes Design guarantees that your fine jewelry is free from defects in craftsmanship for one year from time of purchase. At one year and at least once a year from then on, your stones need to be maintained by having them checked/tightened by a professional jeweler.
We have active and exuberant customers. We cannot dictate how you wear your jewelry: do you rock climb with it? Garden? Kickbox? We can tell by looking at jewelry how it has been treated. We are not responsible for any damage to your jewelry due to negligence or abuse. We understand that accidents happen, and we will gladly repair your jewelry for a reasonable fee. This excludes any defects in craftsmanship, which we will gladly take care of (if the item exhibits no sign of having been subjected to unusual stressors) within one year of purchase.
We stand by our craftsmanship, want your jewelry to last for a long time, even become an heirloom. We will help you decide how to proceed if your jewelry has been damaged or needs alteration. If our jewelry is modified in any way by another jeweler, we release all responsibility for that piece.
We aim for 100% customer satisfaction and are here to help you with your jewelry questions.
Return Policy
Jewelry that is purchased from our website that has not been modified in anyway, is returnable in exchange for an item of equal or greater value. Custom jewelry pieces are non-returnable and non-refundable.

To ensure longevity in each item, industry standards suggest having stones checked by a professional jeweler every 6-12 months. Custom orders and stock items are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Care & Maintenance of Fine Jewelry
You jewelry is made of precious metal which is flexible and malleable. Try to bring awareness to wearing your jewelry so it is not subjected to great force. For instance, be aware of lifting heavy objects, turning door knobs, doing handstands, boxing, etc.
If your jewelry has stones in it, the best practice is for your stones to be checked and/or tightened by a professional jeweler (it can be Jennifer Dawes Design) at least once a year, preferably twice a year. If you ever hear your stone clicking, or when you tap your stone it moves, it is loose in its setting and should be taken to a jeweler immediately.
To clean your fine jewelry hot water is best. You can also use alcohol or ammonia mixed with water.
Fine jewelry is durable, yet also delicate, and should be treated with care and respect.
