SPARKLING ON A CLOUDY DAY
I know Katie through the jewelry industry and worked with her to create a ring using a 7.7ct rhodolite garnet from ANZA gems that she fell in love with at the Ethical Gem Fair in Tucson. Katie picked my Blockette Chevron Garnet Ring for inspiration and we talked about her color preferences and stones. We chose diamonds, ombré sapphires, rubies and a pear shape grape garnet in 18k yellow gold to compliment her stunning rhodelite garnet. She let me take it from there and asked me to surprise her!
We were both so happy with the results. In fact, I loved her ring so much that I wore it around my studio for the day before shipping it to her - I was a little sad to take it off! Katie lives in Seattle and said that even on a cloudy day, her ring sparkles!
